Mrs. Kimber Lucas has worked in Denton ISD for ten years and has taught Second Grade, Third Grade, & Kindergarten. Prior to teaching in public school, she worked as a preschooler director and taught at UNT & NCTC. She grew up in San Antonio then moved to Denton to attend UNT (Go Mean Green!). Mrs. Lucas met her husband in college while volunteering for a non-profit organization in Denton. They have been married for 24 years and have two boys- Kyle (a senior at Oklahoma State University) and Brock (a senior at Ryan High School). In her spare time, she likes to spend time with family (and dog), volunteer, read, and play on the Internet.
