This is my 11th year in education. I started teaching in 2015 at Denton High School and taught IB Math Studies, Geometry, and Honors Geometry. I transitioned from DHS to Rodriguez in 2020 where I taught Algebra I and Math 8. That following summer, I took the opportunity to become one of the Secondary Math Instructional Coaches and had the privilege of serving the math teachers at both Rodriguez and Navo Middle Schools. This year will be my second year back in the classroom and I am so excited for this year.
I received a Bachelors of Science with a major in Mathematics from Texas Woman's University. I just finished my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in mathematics through the University of Texas - Arlington. I graduated high school from McKinney High School.
My family consists of my husband of ten years and three beautiful children. Adaline, Barrett, and Sutton keep us very busy 24/7.
I have two pets: a cat named Ragnar, and an Aussie-doodle named Brida.
Outside of school, I am a full time mom & wife! I love spending time with my family. I really enjoy DIY projects & my husband makes them come to life when I can't! I am a runner and have a life long dream of running a race in Disney World. I also enjoy reading on my Kindle.
