ABOUT ME

   My name is Samantha Lara and this is my 8th year in Education and at RCMS! I attended College at The University of North Texas at Dallas where I earned my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and grew my passion for students in the classroom.

   While I have been at Crownover, I have served in many roles. I began in our PABS program classroom, then Inclusion in the 4 Core Subjects , and 4 years ago I became an Inclusion teacher specifically in Math. Two years ago, I was given the opportunity to yet again broaden my abilities and added two courses of Resource Math to my day. I will teach 7th and 8th Grade Resource Math and Co-Teach 4- 7th Grade Math classes. I am beyond excited to start this new year and put into practice all of the knowledge I have learned!

   When I am not at school, I am at home with my Husband, Ivan, and our daughters Olivia and Claire! We enjoy going swimming, taking nature walks/ riding bikes and learning about "new" animals we come across! We love to watch cooking videos and trying out the new recipes we've found! 

   I am looking forward to the new school year and glad to be here at RCMS!
