- Your child will receive homework once a week. This will usually include 1 or 2 math worksheets, a reading comprehension activity (reading response journals or other activities), and an occasional grammar review.
- Each week your child will be given a leveled reader. I expect this book to be read at least 3/week in addition to their 20 minutes of free choice reading. Your child's nightly reading log should be filled out and initialed each night. Please take the time to add any comments, this helps me guide my reading instruction throughout the week.
