4th Grade ~ Reading

I am so excited to be a 4th Grade teacher at Blanton Elementary. This year is the beginning of my 24th year to teach in various grade levels. I really enjoy children and watching the learning process unfold. I will be teaching reading to all 4th graders at Blanton this year.

My husband and I moved to the Lantana area a little over 13 years ago from Louisiana. We have 4 children that keep us extremely busy. We are grandparents to a granddaughter and and two grandsons. Our oldest son, his wife and two children are finally home from being stationed in Hawaii with the Army. Our only daughter graduated from Texas A&M and recently blessed us with our newest grandson this past summer. They have made their home in College Station where she will begin her teaching career with Pre-K. The twins have faced a difficult challenge in the past 2 1/2 years. Their career paths have separated them for the first time ever. The oldest twin became a Marine and is now stationed in North Carolina. The youngest twin has remained in College Station and will complete his degree in Ag Leadership soon.

Aside from spending time with family, I have many hobbies and interests. I love to R E A D, cook, travel, work jigsaw puzzles, and watch all kinds of sporting events.
