Meet Mrs. Scherpenisse

My name is Delanie Scherpenisse. I am from Denton. I graduated from Denton High School. After high school, I went to college in San Marcos at Texas State. I received a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I then taught 3rd grade in Austin before meeting my husband and moving with him to the Netherlands. While living in the Netherlands I learned Dutch and subbed at an International school in Groningen. Life brought us back to Texas where I subbed for a few years. Then I was lucky to join the Adkins family. This is my fifth year in Kindergarten and I am looking forward to an amazing year.

 I have been married for 14 years. I have three beautiful children, Kennedy, Ryder, and Hayden. Kennedy is 13 and loves reading and spending time with friends. Ryder is 10 and is in 5th grade here at Adkins. He loves playing basketball. Hayden is about to be two. He adores his big sister and brother. We also have a dog named Daisy. She is very much still a puppy and loves to play and run.
