My name is Jaclyn Pirtle and I live in a tiny town called Ponder, TX and have been married for 16 years to my husband, Michael. We have three children: Knox (13 yrs), Hudson (10 yrs) and Ellie (7 yrs).

I graduated from Rockwall High School and I attended the University of North Texas in Denton where I majored in Education and minored in Science. Currently, I hold two teaching certifications: 4th-8th Grade Generalist (all subjects) and EC-12th Grade Special Education.

In my spare time I love playing with my kids, reading good books, cooking, lifting weights, and spending time with friends and family and am very involved at my church, Denton Bible. I'm looking forward to a great school year!
