About Me

I want to start off by letting you know a little bit about me.

My husband Jason and I have been married for 27 years, and we have lived in the Braswell zone for 8 years.  Jason is an I.T. director and all 3 of my kiddos graduated from Braswell High School. Harrison is now a finishing up an engineering degree at UNT. Lawrence has brought us a daughter-in-law and grandbaby!  Olivia is a local artist and substitute teacher with Denton ISD. 

Prior to becoming a teacher, I homeschooled, operated a home childcare center for 10 years, then changed careers to focus on the world of emergency preparedness and disaster planning for 15 years.  Now that my children have grown, I decided emergency management isn't as fulfilling as my true calling and passion, early childhood education.  My love for littles has continued to grow by leaps and bounds.  I am a lifelong learner and strive to serve my students better each day.  I genuinely feel that our children are our future and that every child is a gift!  It is my privilege to support them in their growth and development!
