Major Summative Assessments gauge comprehension and occur at the conclusion of each learning unit, typically every three weeks. These assessments encompass, but are not limited to, unit tests, essays, projects, presentations, guided conversations (e.g., interviews or simulated dialogues), and the interpretation of texts or images.
Minor Summative Assessments verify understanding of the material and target a more limited set of learning objectives compared to major assessments. These assessments consist of, but are not limited to, quizzes, short written assignments, guided conversations (including short interviews or questioning), and the interpretation of texts or images.
