I am very excited to be part of the Denton ISD Virtual Academy. I have been teaching in Denton ISD for the past 16 years and I look forward to teaching Social Studies for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classes.
A Little About Me:
My wife and I have been married for 30 plus years and have raised two wonderful young men, Noah and Drew. We spend most of our time playing with our three Shar Pei puppies or babysitting our Granddaughter, Harvielyn, or HL for short.
I played basketball in college at Angelo State University and graduated from Texas Tech University.
I love playing golf with friends and family and if the weather is not favorable for outdoor activities, I enjoy playing board games. Here is a short list of some of our "Go To" games of choice: Carcassonne / Dominion /Star Realms /Catan /Risk
I also play video games on Switch but not online. I do play game apps on my phone and tablet, such as: Clash Royale / Brawl Stars / Golf Rival
My family and I love to travel, see and learn new things about America.

Dr. Pepper with Vanilla and real cream is my default Sonic drink as a "lift me up".
I snack on beef jerky, fruit, and nuts as daily snacks
