Here's a little bit about me...

I grew up in a small town called Honey Grove, Texas, and I lived there until my big move to Denton in 2014. I attended the University of North Texas for four years until graduating Cum Laude in May 2018. Now, I live in Lewisville near the lake and enjoy it with my husband, Keith, our daughter, Elle, our dogs, Dave & Jackie, and our 2 cats, Maddie and Craig.

I absolutely love Denton ISD! I student taught at Hawk Elementary in 2017-2018, and I started my teaching career in Fall 2018. I have taught kindergarten through second grade. This is my first year in 4th grade, although I did student teach with Mrs.Reed in 4th grade.

Denton ISD opened my mind to modelling a growth mindset for students. We say things like "I don't know that YET" or "I can try again." I want to foster that kind of minset in my class and with parents as well. I know there will be mistakes or mishaps, and I am willing to partner together and learn from them. I will do everything I can to support your child and team together to make progress! Thank you for your support and partnership.
