Welcome to Martinez Elementary School library!

My name is Rachel Stuart and I am your new librarian! I have been teaching around the world for the past 8 years and I am excited to begin my 9th year as a librarian in Denton ISD. I can't wait to kick off the new school year in our brand new, beautiful school!

I am a proud mom to two amazing young women.  One is beginning her junior year at Texas A&M and my youngest is a incoming freshman at Texas A&M.  My husband and I met 23 years ago while we both were serving in the Navy and have been together ever since.  

We love to travel, explore, scuba dive, Geocache, and pretty much any outside activity.  I'm also a dog mom to a 9 year old German Shepherd and a 9 month old yellow lab.

It's going to be a fantastastic year!
