Hello, my name is Cody Malone! I'm so excited to be teaching at Rodriguez Middle School this year! I was born and raised in Paris, Texas up in North East Texas. While I was in school I was a part of every organization I could: Band, Student Council, BETA, Yearbook, and more! If you ever needed to find me in high school, you could have found me in the Band Hall practicing for All-Region tryouts or.... just goofing off with friends!
After high school, I moved to Denton and started working towards my Bachelors at Texas Woman's University. While in college I was in the Honors Scholars Program and a Pioneer Ambassador (tour guide). After 4 and a half years, two major changes, moving each year, I graduated in the December of 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics Education with my certification in 7th-12th grade math.
In the fall of 2017 I was a student teacher at Denton High School, and in the spring of 2018 I was a long term substitute at Braswell High School. After completing the 2022-2023 school year, I taught 8th Grade Math and Algebra I at Rodriguez Middle School for 5 years! Last school year I taught at Braswell High School.
