Hello! My name is Kimberly Bock. I have worked in Denton ISD for eighteen years and this is my twelfth year at Calhoun Middle School.
I have known my entire life I wanted to be a teacher. My mother was a teacher and I used to go to school with her and help whenever I was able. I grew up in Illinois and received my undergrad from Western Illinois University. I received my Master of Education in Educational Administration degree from Lamar University. I have been working in the field of education for 28 years. I was an early childhood administrator for four years and have taught for twenty-five years. I have taught first, second, third, fifth and sixth grades. All very different, yet all extremely enjoyable.
I am a mother of three. J.T. and Stephanie graduated from UNT, with a Master's degree in Accounting, and Courtney is a teacher in Aubrey ISD. We have lived all around the country but like Texas the best. We have lived here for 22 years now and love it! We definitely consider Texas our home.
I enjoy reading, live music, and traveling. My favorite color is green. I like to eat Mexican food, pizza and steak. My very favorite drink is Sonic Diet Coke!!
