Welcome to my webpage and a new year at Navo Middle School. There are many new faces and many new opportunities for continued learning and growth by all. I look forward to providing engaging instruction and relevant learning opportunities for my math students. This year will mark my 27th year teaching and I look forward to another great year.

On a personal note, I am a local girl. Having attended all 12 years in Denton schools (Ginnings, Strickland, and Denton High), I ventured to Sam Houston State University for my college education where I played Division I Softball and obtained my B.A. in Teaching. My experience includes teaching elementary students as well as middle school and high school. I have taught English, Algebra, Science, Health, Study Skills, and Physical Education. I have also coached basketball, softball, volleyball, and track.

Outside of school, I enjoy golf, scuba diving, working out, gardening, and traveling. My husband, Jeff is an Anatomy and Physiology teacher at Guyer High School and has recently retired from Athletic Training. We have a son, Jacob (23) and a daughter, Kelbi (22). Our pets include two dogs, Sophie, a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Mix and Belle, a Rat Terrier/Shih Tzu/Mix.
