Meet the Teacher

I'm Lindsey Dykes.  This is my 7th year of teaching here at Sam Houston. I taught art at two private schools as well as private lessons for 6 years before coming to Sam Houston.  I went to University of North Texas for my degree in Visual Art Studies.  I am certified to teach early childhood through 12th grade Art.  

I enjoy being with my family (my husband, and two children), traveling, creating, reading and relaxing.
