Everyone—parents, educators, students, and community members are invited to join PTA.

The #1 reason to join your PTA is to support your school and your student. We are important contributors to our school in many ways and encourage each of you to do your part by becoming active members.

• Parents Get Connected – Be informed about educational issues, school activities, important dates, policy changes, student and teacher concerns, budget issues and other important information.
• Students – Become active in Harpool PTA today! There are volunteer opportunities, putting your skills and hobbies to use to better your school. Speak up – PTA can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at your school.

Being a PTA member means you are affiliated with an organization filled with dedicated volunteers giving thousands of hours each year to the success of Harpool Middle School. PTA provides opportunities to meet and talk with other parents who have the same worries as you. By sharing common concerns, you will feel more empowered to do the tough job of parenting.

PTA members have the opportunity to not only impact you local school and community, but to have input in major legislative and policy issues affecting children throughout the state. Membership gives you a voice. Exercise your right to vote. Get involved!

Membership dues are the most important funding resource for our many projects that include, but not limited to Longhorn Day, Renaissance, Reflections (Arts in Education), Staff Appreciation, the Winter Dance, and so much more!
