This is my 22st year of teaching, and my 14th year to teach 3rd grade.  I have been here at Hawk since it opened up, and I am still excited to be a Hawk Maverick!  I just love working with and being part of the family here at Hawk!! 

I have been married for 23 wonderful years and have 2 beautiful children.  My daughter, Hannah, is 22 and is attending WGU.  My son, Mason, is 20 and is also attending WGU. My family and my faith keep me centered and bring me so much joy!!                                                               

Although I graduated from the University of North Texas, I am a Texas Longhorn at heart...HOOK 'EM HORNS!  I love football; so naturally, I root for UT and my longtime favorite, the Dallas Cowboys (even though it gets harder every year)...HOW 'BOUT THEM COWBOYS!

I have an older sister who is a hard working mother of 4 boys.  I also have two brothers.  My older brother retired from the Navy after 25 years and has 2 adult kids.  My younger brother, who spent some time in the Army in Afghanistan, got his Masters Degree and is a stay at home dad to his 2 children.  Between the three of them and my in-laws, I am the PROUD aunt to 15 nieces/nephews!!!
