This is my 20th year of teaching, and my 112year to teach 3rd grade.  I have been here at Hawk since it opened up, and I am so excited about this year.  I just love working with and being part of the family here at Hawk!! 

I have been married for 21 wonderful years and have 2 beautiful children.  My daughter, Hannah, is 20 and is attending NCTC.  My son, Mason, is 18 and has also started attending NCTC.  My kids keep me busy, but my family brings so much joy to my life!!                                                               

Although I graduated from the University of North Texas, I am a Texas Longhorn at heart...HOOK 'EM HORNS!  I love football; so naturally, I root for UT and my longtime favorite, the Dallas Cowboys...HOW 'BOUT THEM COWBOYS!

 I have an older sister who is a hard working stay at home mother of 4 boys.  I also have two brothers.  My older brother retired from the Navy after 25 years and has 2 kids.  My younger brother, who spent some time in the Army in Afghanistan, just got his Masters Degree and is a stay at home dad to his 2 children.  Between the three of them and my in-laws, I am the PROUD aunt to 15 nieces/nephews!!!
