Students are asked to read for at least 20 minutes 4 nights a week as well as practice their math facts 4 nights each week. Vocabulary words and a Life Skill of the Week will also be listed on our Weekly Reminders email every week so that you can discuss these with your children.
What counts as reading?
Independent reading (please ask your children questions about what they read)
Reading out loud to you, siblings, pets, or stuffed animals
Parents, grandparents, etc. reading more difficult texts out loud to your children
