Members will prepare a short one-shot to DM for new members joining the following week. You may team up to DM together.
Dungeons and Dragons is a fantasy role-playing game. Players create a character and embark on imaginary adventures, using the roll of a dice to determine the outcome of the character's choices.
D&D is a cooperative game. You must be willing to work together to tell your characters' stories.
No side games or listening to music during the game. Put those phones down!
Listen to the Dungeon Master (DM) and the other players when it is not your turn. You might miss important parts of the story!
Come prepared! (Once you have a character, know your actions, equipment, and spells.)
You may bring food or drinks, but clean up after yourself.
Help set up at the beginning and help pack everything up at the end.
Make sure your ride home is on time. Parents will pick up outside the 7th grade wing.
Remember that the DM has the final say on outcomes in the game. No arguing!
If you don't seem to be having fun with your group, be willing to try something new until you find a good fit.
All normal school conduct rules apply: no stealing, fighting, name-calling. Use school-appropriate language. Be a leader and show integrity.
If you cause problems or drama, you will be asked to leave and not return.
