We appreciate your interest in becoming a Class of 2029 officer. Elections for this school year have already taken place.

If you are interested in serving as an officer, please check back in Fall 2026 when the next election cycle opens.

Interested in running next year?

In order to run for office, you will be expected to:

• complete an application

• request evaluations from several current and former teachers

• participate in an interview

• make sure your parents have completed the permission form to be in a club or organization

additionally, ALL OFFICERS must be committed to their Class Council. Each officer must: 

• be academically eligible (all officers must maintain a minimum GPA of a 3.0).

• be willing to make all Class Council endeavors high priorities in their busy schedules.

• attend meetings. After 2 missed meetings, we may begin the process of removing you from office.

• complete the responsibilities assigned by the Class Constitution, advisor, and/or school administrators.

• follow the Guyer Code of Conduct and abstain from alcohol, use of tobacco products, and other drugs.

• help raise funding and organize all aspects of Prom for your Junior year.
