Hello there!!

I am your child's Gifted and Talented Specialist.  I am here to serve students with enrichment and help them reach their EXceptional POtential.  Through the process they will learn to navigate problems and how to make mistakes work in their best interests.  Lessons that will transfer over for success in life! When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I love to create artsy things and read a good book. My husband Stevie and I love going fishing and to the movies!  We have 2 girls named Zoie and Kylie.  I'm so excited to have Zoie and Kylie here at SRE with me!

I couldn't be more excited to be the GT Specialist! I have been teaching for 16 years after graduating from the University of Texas at Tyler.  Over the years, I have taught grades Kinder, 1st, and 2nd as well as being a 3rd-5th grade Math and Reading Specialist. I enjoy teaching and watching the amazing growth my students make throughout the year. I love interactive and hands-on activities to help students remain engaged in the learning process.  When students enter my room, we become family and we help each other have the best years together. Together anything is possible!
