Meet Mrs. Reynolds...
Hey there!
My name is Mrs. Reynolds and I teach reading and writing for the 3d grade team! I am going into my eighth year of teaching (third year in third grade AND third year at EP)! I graduate from Texas Woman's University with my BS in Interdisciplinary Studies, and went on to receive a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
My family includes my husband, Colby, and our 3 1/2 year old, Carter. We also have two dogs, Bella and Roxy, as well as one cat, Penelope.
I am an avid reader and consider it my favorite hobby. I am usually in the middle of at least one book at a time, and I love getting together with my book club to discuss the latest read. Writing is another passion of mine. I think it is an excellent way to express yourself and find some time for reflection. Because of this, I get absolute joy from sharing my love of reading and writing with students every day!
The ultimate mission for this year is to develop and foster a love for reading and writing and make sure our kiddos go on to be lifelong readers and learners. I am so excited for the upcoming school year! It's going to be a GREAT one!
