Ms. Galaviz

My name is Ms. Galaviz and this is my 6th year teaching! Previously, I taught kindergarten in Gainesville ISD for 2 years, transferred to Denton ISD to teach first grade here at Stephens Elementary for 3 years, and I am trilled to be returning back to my roots in kindergarten for this 25-26 school year!😊

I was born and raised in Gainesville, Texas. I graduated high school from Era ISD. I attended Texas State University where I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.

I am engaged to my amazing fiancé, Devin Mims.💍 We live in Gainesville with our household of fur babies. 🐶 Quality time with family & friends are very important to me.💗 I love to travel and explore the world.🌎 Teaching is my passion! I love watching my students grow & reach their goals inside and out of the classroom! 📚

My Why

My why is simple… to advocate, love, and motivate my students to be the best they can be. To be a safe place who they can always come to and trust. Always be their cheerleader to reach success and their goals inside and outside of school. And to build personal connections that bring a sense of love and importance to their lives.
