DAILY ROUTINES
Sit at your assigned computer station.
Place all backpacks, binders, and books under your seat. You will not need a pen or pencil for this class.
Look at the screen in the front for instructions.
CHAMPS
CHAMPS is used at RCMS to assist in classroom management.
The CHAMPS acronym stands for:
Conversation: Can students talk to each other during this activity?
Help: How do students get the teacher’s attention and their questions answered?
Activity: What is the task/objective? What is the end product?
Movement: Can students move about during this activity?
Participation: How do students show they are fully participating? What does work behavior look/sound like?
Success: When students meet CHAMPS expectations, they will be successful!
CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
Follow classroom CHAMPS.
All Denton ISD & RCMS Student Handbooks policies and Denton ISD AUP will be followed.
Students will sit in assigned seats and be responsible for equipment and furniture at their workstations.
No food, drinks, candy, gum, or personal grooming in the computer lab.
MAKEUP WORK
Verified Absences Only
Check with the teacher immediately for missing assignments and Google Classroom.
It is the student’s responsibility to make up the work. Missing work can be made up before or after school.

TARDIES
Tardy 1-3: Warning + Parent Phone Call or Email
Tardy 4: Parent Phone Call and an Office Referral
Tardies will be entered into the official attendance records.
