Science Class
Be Safe Everyone! I hope you are all staying save with regards to the virus, you are living a history and science lesson, you may want to start a journal to tell your grand-kids of this time period.
Here are the items each student will need to make this year successful.
1. Wired headphones/earbuds - your preference
2. Composition book with at least 100 pages.
3. Writing utensil, pens or pencils. If using pencils a hand held pencil sharpener is also needed.
We will begin the year with Lab Safety and Cells.
Important Dates
Monday August 08 - Buy agenda, pickup school supplies, register for clubs, drop off team school supplies
Tuesday August 09 - 6th Grade Round Up
Wednesday August 10 - Teacher Work Day
Thursday August 11 - School Expectations and Get to Know you.
Friday August 12 AUP - Computer and Technology Usage

Grading
All core subjects/departments share the same grading system. For all classes minor assessments are worth 30% and major assessments are worth 70%. Students will be required to sign a contract if they fail a major assessment which will have them come in for tutorials and retest. Student's have 4 days to retest after receiving a failing grade and contract.
