Welcome to the wild side of learning! This Activity is designed to engage students (grades K-5) in looking closely and thinking deeply about animal behavior and habitats.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

Students can observe live videos of undersea life. When the aquarium’s live web cams aren’t running (they operate during specific hours), there are pre-recorded videos to fill in.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Explore videos, maps, and exhibitions around the museum! Here are our favorites:

A time machine, where you can search by time period, idea or location to uncover objects and artwork from the museum’s rooms.
The “Big Ideas” search tool to look into topics like inventions and battles, and see artifacts.

Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History

Students can go on a virtual tour of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Students can check out dinosaur skeletons, animals from around the globe and even past exhibits.
