Transfer Information 

Interested in an IB Transfer? Here is the information for district requirements.

To transfer to DHS you must agree to the following criteria by completing this form. https://forms.gle/yd2dcY12HmEGbhq89

1. Student must enroll in and a minimum of 2 honors class in 9th-10th grade. We strongly encourage honors English language arts*

2. Students must enroll in a minimum of 2 IB Diploma classes in 11th-12th grade. 

3. Student must maintain progress toward graduation

4. Student must have acceptable attendance with fewer than 10 unexcused absences per year

5. Student must not have persistent behavior issues. 

*The IB Diploma is rigorous advanced academic course work for which we believe all students have the capacity. While all students can be successful in IB DP courses, we want to make sure our transfer students, who are coming to DHS to for the IB Programme, are prepared for that work. Therefore, students are strongly encouraged to take Honors English in 9th and 10th grade to ensure they have the writing and rigor experience to be successful in the required IB diploma classes in 11th and 12th grade.
