Dual Credit at Braswell High School

Dual Credit Courses are courses that receive both college and high school credit.

Students must have a 2.5 GPA and meet college readiness standards on the TSIA2, SAT or ACT to be eligible to apply for Dual Credit courses.

Braswell is planning to offer these courses in 2025-2026 through TWU as an embedded program: 

• Dual Credit English 3 Composition (2 semesters)

• Dual Credit English 4 Composition (2 semesters)

• Dual Credit English 4 Literature (2 semesters)

• Dual Credit US History (2 semesters)

• Dual Credit Biology (2 semesters)

• Dual Credit Chemistry (2 semesters)

• Dual Credit Pre-Calculus (2 semesters)

• Dual Credit Statistics (spring semester only)

Only US Government, Economics, and Texas Government (core college course tied to an elective high school course) will be offered. These courses are taught only online through UNT.
