Welcome back
Hello and welcome back to an awesome new year at Stephens Elementary. This page will allow you to have a greater depth of knowledge about the lessons, topics, and books we will using in guidance through the year.
First Essential 8 lessons
September 2026
September 8- 11: This week Pk looks at the green zone of emotions. Kinder through 2nd look at the feelings part of self management. Lastly, 3rd has their first essential 8 lesson.
Self- Management --> a person's success in controlling their emotions, behaviors, (and thoughts), especially in new and challenging ways.
August 31- September 4: This week we are moving into our second full week of lessons. The biweekly grades of 3rd through 5th are continuing their introductory lessons. As weekly lessons in PK through 2nd are moving into the first Essential 8 topic: Self managment.
