The Leadership Team is selected with great care by the band directors to represent, serve, and improve the Calhoun Band. 

Qualifications:

·         Has at least one year of experience of band (usually in 7th or 8th grade).

·         Consistently on time and prepared for all required band rehearsals, sectionals and performances.

·         Demonstrates respect, positivity, good work ethic, and leadership.

Expectations:

·         Attend all meetings and band events.

·         Help set up, decorate, and otherwise assist at band events.

Benefits include:

·         Serving and improving our band program.

·         Building friendships with other band students.

·         Reward event at the end of the school year.

If an appointed member has consistent issues fulfilling these expectations, the band directors reserve the right to dismiss the member from duty for the remainder of the school year and appoint another student to the position.

To apply: 

1.      Complete the Google Survey, via the Google form (site can be found on the band website). 

2.      Turn in to Mr. Gonzales by Friday, August 30th.

3.      Attend our first meeting on Monday, September 9th.
