All About Mrs. Jamison

My name is Crystal Jamison and I am so excited to be at Hawk Elementary School this year.  This is my 18th year of teaching in Denton ISD and I am looking forward to another great year! I am so excited to be a part of the Dyslexia department in DentonISD as a Certified Academic Language Therapist.   I am a graduate of Texas Woman's University.   Although I am a native of Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas, my historical roots were planted in Denton when my grandfather moved to Denton as a coach at Fred Moore High School.   I am married to Michael and have three beautiful children - Joshua, Mikyla, and Mikinley.  

 It has been such a blessing to step into the path of my calling to be a leader, teacher, therapist, educator, and mentor to children, not only educationally, but also physically and emotionally. During our time together, I will help students develop a supportive classroom community where we can share and learn together. I am excited about empowering new students this year and helping them to be successful learners!!
