Hi! I'm Mrs. Carter!

Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It's going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures and I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.

I am married to a wonderful husband, Tyler. We have a daughter {Finley} who is three years old, a German shepherd named {Roczen,} and a Mini Aussie named {Chipper..} They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are crafting, traveling, hunting, Red Sox baseball, photography, and running races!

I moved to Texas last summer after living in Oklahoma my entire life. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2013. GO POKES! I am currently working on my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at the University of North Texas.

This will be my second year teaching 2^nd grade at Savannah. Before that, I taught 3^rd grade at Kingsgate Elementary in Moore, OK.. I absolutely love teaching lower elementary! It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion for my subject so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners.
