Fees, & DISD- Owned Instruments
The $75 Participation fee is for BHS classes only (not 5th Grade classes) and may be paid in one lump sum at the beginning of the year. Any unpaid portion of the $75 participation fee unpaid at the end of the year creates a hold on graduation, and also on obtaining a Texas drivers license. Due: September 30th.

Class Fee: $20 (T-shirt, binder, etc.)
Consumable Supplies: $20 (copies, music, rosin, batteries etc.)
Contracted Services: $10 (recording, photography, sectional and clinical work)
Uniform Usage: $25

These fees will be collected as the year progresses. Due dates will be announced.
Extra T-shirt: $15
All Region Orchestra Audition: $15
All State Orchestra Audition: $15
Solo and Ensemble Entry: Various
DISD INSTRUMENT USE FEE
$125 all students who play a school owned instrument but do not qualify for free or reduced lunch- reserved primarily for cello and bass
$50 all students qualifying for reduced lunch (District approval letter must be provided to Mr. Burris in order to receive reduced lunch fee)
$25 all students qualifying for free lunch (District approval letter must be provided to Mr. Burris in order to receive free lunch fee)
DISD INSTRUMENT PAYMENT BY INSTALLMENTS
1) Parents may pay the fee in full when school begins in August
2) Parents may pay $40.00 (Aug.); $40.00 (Sept.); $45.00 (Oct.) = $125.00
3) Reduced Lunch students may pay $20.00 (Aug.); $20.00 (Sept.); $10.00 (Oct.) = $50.00
4) Free Lunch students may pay $10.00 (Aug.); $10.00 (Sept.); $5.00 (Oct.) = $25.00
