We are currently creating Watercolor Abstract Animals. We used photo editing tools to create abstract pictures of animals and then we used those as inspiration for our watercolors. The use of black glitter glue gives our projects interesting texture.

This year for Inktober we were inspired by Edward Gorey's Gashlycrumb Tinies. Students were given a letter an random and encouraged to be as weird as possible while showcasing thier pen skills.
Mirror Symmetry Day of the Dead Skulls were a success yet again! Students start with one side of a skull and try to create the mirror image so that they skull is complete.
Tissue Paper Texture Collages are a great example of how using patterns create texture. The display in the main hallway looks amazing!
1 point perspective is a pretty tough concept, but Art 1 did an awesome job!
