My name is Mrs. Golden and I am your students art teacher here at Borman. Thank you for letting me create with your young artist every week! Your child make masterpieces (and sometimes mess-terpieces 😊) once a week for 45 minutes.Â

About me: I was born here in Denton, TX and lived around DFW my entire childhood. When it was time for college I decided to come back to where my heart is- Denton. Fun fact: I went to all of the local colleges here in Denton. I have an Art Associates from NCTC, A Bachelors of Interdisciplinary studies from UNT, and a Masters in Teaching from TWU. Â
Art is a true passion of mine. Getting to wake up each day and teach the love of creativity to students brings my heart so much joy! Building a community of Visual Art fanatics in a town that loves to appreciate the Visual Arts is such a privilege.Â
When I am not in the classroom I am usually at home with my dogs, drawing, somewhere on the Square or in nature.Â
