The purpose of  our Sunshine Committee is to foster a positive community within Bettye Myers. This committee is comprised of volunteers who are responsible for planning and implementing activities aimed at boosting morale, enhancing cohesion, and promoting a sense of well-being among our members. The specific purposes of our Sunshine Committee can include:

• Member Recognition: Recognizing and celebrating achievements, milestones, and contributions of individuals within the organization or group. This can include birthdays, weddings, or new babies.

• Team Building and Social Events: Organizing building events and activities such as tailgates, chili cook-off, potlucks, Boo-Buddies, Secret Santa, etc.

• Member Feedback: Act as a liaison for when tragedy strikes. 

• Promoting Positivity: Spreading positivity through inspirational messages, small acts of kindness, and activities that enhance the overall mood within Myers.
