Hi!!! I'm Melissa Argo, and I am so happy to be starting another school year teaching first grade. This is my 15th year teaching, and it is my 6th year at Blanton. I grew up in Lewisville, graduated from Lewisville High School (GO Farmers!!!) and attended college at Texas Woman's University. Ever since I can remember I wanted to be a teacher, and I am glad I'm able to pursue my dream each and every day.

Aside from teaching, I enjoy spending time with my two children. I love to travel, attend concerts and sporting events when we are able to do so. I find comfort in a hot cup of coffee and a good book. Mexican food is my favorite, and I have a major sweet tooth!
