Bell ES MUSIC K-5

About Me

Mr. Barron is going into his first year teaching at Bell Elementary school. He's a graduate from Abilene Christian University. During his junior year Mr. Barron conducted at TCDA (Texas Choral Directors Assciation) as one of their student conductors. In additon Ramon partipated in the McNairs program, an intership directed towards low income and first generation college students. Through this he worked with Susan Teel (professor at ACU) to research core subject integration techniques for elementary music. In addition, was invited the following year to work with Matthew Roberson to write about integrating Madrigal Dinners as a form of fundraising for secondary education. His senior year at ACU he was the Student Conductor for both ACU choirs, he lead warm-ups and classes (on occation) as well as conducting one work for each group.

When he is home you can find him in pajamas and sweat pants binge watching TV shows with friends and family.

This past summer I was an Aquatics Speacialist for LCISD and taught swim lessons and techniques for participants and staff on campus. It was through the aquatics program where I found my passion for Teaching, and it was through Choir where I found my passion for teaching music.

Super Excited to start this School Year 2023-2024!
