Hello! I am the speech pathologist here at Stephens along with my fabulous co-worker Mrs. Jennifer Grammer who is on campus Mondays and Wednesdays. I have been the speech pathologist here at Stephens since the doors opened in 2008. I am the proud mom of 3 kids, 18 year old twins who attend the University of Arkansas as well as my tennis-loving 12 year old son who is currently a 7th grader at Lake Dallas Middle School.
I graduated from University of Houston with my BA and received my MA at UNT here in Denton. I have worked in private practice, ECI with the majority of my work in the school district.
I believe a crucial component in the progression in speech therapy is a close partnership with the teacher and the parents as well as any outside therapy providers. Lots of great things happen when we all work together! I am always available to meet with whatever method works for you and your schedule (email, phone call, in person or virtual conference). I strive to make sure every child's speech therapy program is individualized to best address their communication needs.

My favorite snacks are pretzels and crackers.
My favorite desserts are homemade choc chip cookies and homemade brownies.
My favorite candy is m and m's.
My favorite scent is anything citrus-y. (orange, lemon, lime scents)
My favorite restaurant is Chick Fil A and CAVA!!!!!
My favorite store is amazon.
I collect coffee mugs. I also LOVE anything from other countries/cultures. (I love learning about other cultures)
My hobbies are spending time with my kids and rescuing animals!
