About The Teacher

My name is Ashley Threlkeld, and I am so excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher at the best school ever- Hawk Elementary! This year will be filled with tons of fun and lots of learning! I am so excited to see how much your child grows throughout this school year.

I am originally from central Illinois, and I moved to Texas after I graduated with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Bradley University. This will be my 10th year teaching kindergarten at Hawk! I am so blessed to be a part of such a supportive and caring staff.

In January, my husband and I welcomed our first child, Tate! He has sure made life sweet :) 

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy working out, playing pickleball, and taking adventures! I used to play softball when I was younger, so I enjoy anytime I get to see a softball or baseball (go St. Louis Cardinals!) game when I can. I was also very involved in dance and show choir and even danced for a year on my college dance team!
