About Mrs. Norris
I am so excited to be teaching 8th Grade English Language Arts and Reading at Crownover Middle School this year!
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Sam Houston State University (Go Bearkats!), and am certified to teach all grades 7-12 in ELAR. I have always enjoyed investing time in and getting to know students of all ages, and cannot wait to work with you this year.
Some things to know about me are that I love to spend time with my husband, of whom I got married to in May 2021. I grew up in the southeast Houston area, and moved to Denton shortly after getting married. In fact, my husband attended Crownover whenever he was in middle school! I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing tennis with friends, perusing museums, and Nashville hot chicken. A few of my favorite book genres are dystopian, mystery, humor, and historical fiction.
