HELLO! My name is Ms. Deni Hofheins-Oster, but you can just call me Ms. Oster. I have been in education for about 7 years now. I was a stay at home mom for 17 years, raising my 2 children.
HELLO! My name is Ms. Deni Hofheins-Oster, but you can just call me Ms. Oster. I have been in education for about 7 years now. I was a stay at home mom for 17 years, raising my 2 children.
I grew up in Ely, Nevada and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno. After college I was married and moved to Washington State for 7 years. My husbands job transferred us to Indiana for 3 years, Ohio for 4 years, and finally Texas! I have been in Texas for almost 10 years now and absolutely love this state. My children have both graduated from Krum High School. My son, Colton, graduated from UNT and my daughter, Jacey, is currently attending UT, Austin. My two kids are my pride and joy and are such amazing young people!

Besides being with my family, I love spending time with my pets. I have 2 dogs and a new puppy, 6 cats, and 3 horses. I enjoy riding my horse and competing in barrel racing when I can. I also prefer being outside most of the time doing yard work, hiking, kayaking or just enjoy being on a lake.
I am so excited about this new school year and teaching in Denton ISD! I am looking forward to a wonderful year with all of my precious students! Please reach out to me if you have any questions!
