Westmont High School's Geography Club is an exploration club led by Peter Landreth and Brian Dunne. We generally have trips about once a month (give or take) to Chicago or other locations in Illinois. We hope you'll join us to explore the world without having to leave Chicago!
Westmont High School's Geography Club is an exploration club led by Peter Landreth and Brian Dunne. We generally have trips about once a month (give or take) to Chicago or other locations in Illinois. We hope you'll join us to explore the world without having to leave Chicago!
In addition, Geography Club is responsible for planning overseas trips for WHS students, sometimes in conjunction with our World Languages Department. During spring break of 2018, we went to Greece and Italy! Geography Club also traveled to Iceland in summer 2019, Spain and Portugal as well as Ireland and the UK in summer 2022, and Spain and France in summer 2023. Over spring break 2025, we will be traveling to JAPAN! Other past trips have included Cambodia, Cuba, Quebec, Vietnam and much, much more. Stay tuned for future international trip opportunties!
