WHAT SOLO / ENSEMBLE CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THIS YEAR?
A. Freshmen - You are eligible to participate in the CISD Solo Contest on April 8. Check out the April 8 Page for more information
B. Sophomores-Seniors - You may do any of the following:
1. Participate in the Region Solo Contest on February 2 (already past)
a. Solos
i. Only Class 1 Soloists who plan to go to State on May 26-27 should participate in this contest.
ii. If you have a Voice Teacher, they will assign your solo and we will register you.
iii. If you do NOT have a Voice Teacher, Mr. Brown should be assigning you a solo which you will have to sing off for him prior to the Winter Break. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION

IMPORTANT DEADLINES FOR FEBRUARY CONTEST:
WINTER BREAK DEADLINE!
1. Any soloists who are NOT in Voice Lessons MUST sing off on their solo prior to the Winter Break for Mr. Brown. Information regarding sing off options are available through the links above!
2. All Ensembles must sing off on their ensemble prior to the Winter Break!

I LOST MY SOLO, WHERE CAN I GET ANOTHER COPY?
CHS Choir has originals of every solo assigned in our library. We have made PDFs available which you can find in your Choir's Google Drive Folder in the "Solos" Folder.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO PRACTICE MY SOLO?
CHS Choir has accompaniment track mp3s of nearly every solo assigned in our library. We have made these available which you can find in your Choir's Google Drive Folder in the "Solos" Folder, then accompaniments.
If your solo isn't there, email Mr. Brown and he will try to get an MP3 made for you!
