POINTS FORM

To the right is the google form that you MUST fill out in order to prove your participation in events and volunteer opportunities.

  • Entries submitted through the google form will be counted as valid only if you fill out the form for YOURSELF and NOT for a friend.

  • Only submissions with photo proof attached will be counted as valid and processed toward your point totals, since it ensures integrity.

See 'photo guidelines' below for more information on acceptable photo proofs.

PHOTO GUIDELINES

  • Pictures submitted must include YOUR FACE at the event.

  • DO NOT reuse pictures from previous events or use another friend's picture.

  • Points turned in AFTER 1 WEEK FROM THE DAY OF THE EVENT will not be counted.

DEMERITS

Demerits are for members who fail to abide by the Student Council rules and guidelines that were set to ensure a standard of equal opportunity. Integrity is one of the many values that we strive to uphold as a council, so failure to act honestly will result in loss of points and/or future dismissal from the group.

Demerits can result from:

  • Reusing pictures from previous events.

  • Using a friend's picture (one in which you are not present).

  • Photoshopping or altering a picture submitted as proof.

  • Submitting points from nonexistent events or events that were cancelled (due to inclement weather or other circumstances).

Absences

If you will not be able to attend a mandatory event or meeting, please fill out the google form to the left.

If you miss more than 3 meetings, you will be marked as an inactive member, and therefore will not be counted as being a member of Student Council this year.

POINTS/ATTENDANCE SPREADSHEET

The spreadsheet below has your point totals for the 2019-2020 school year. The "total points" column is a sum of all the points you've earned during your time with Student Council. At the bottom of the spreadsheet are tabs (separated by month) which provide further details regarding points for individual events that took place that month.

YOU MUST HAVE 500 POINTS (2021-22 POINTS COLUMN) BY THE END OF THE YEAR TO BE CONSIDERED AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF STUDENT COUNCIL!

SPREADSHEET GUIDELINES:

    • You have up to ONE WEEK AFTER YOUR EVENT to submit the form for points and to make sure that they are accounted for.

    • Points submitted for an event after the one week deadline will NOT be counted or put on the spreadsheet as credit for participation in that event.

    • You only get points for participation in an event if you submit the fully completed google form as proof.

      • Texting an officer DOES NOT count as proof.

A GENTLE REMINDER:

Points will be updated as frequently as possible. Our officers work very hard to ensure that all points earned by STUCO family members are accounted for, so if you don't see your points updated immediately after your event, please don't worry and give us a minimum of two weeks to update them!

2021-22 Update: We have not opened membership for this school year so therefore a point spreadsheet is not available.
