Middle School Introduction To Wrestling - Spring "Season":
2024 Season Runs From April 2 - May 4
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays 4:45 - 6:00
The introductory middle school "Spring" program is for current grades 7 & 8 athletes only. All participants must have a current physical on file and a complete Rank One profile. Registration, physical forms and the Rank One link are found here:

There is no cost involved. All prospective middle school wrestlers will practice at their future high school campus under the direction of the head wrestling coach and the high school wrestling team members. Wrestlers must provide their own transportation to all workouts and the end of season competition.
(We realize there are conflicts with other after school activities. Come when you can, as much as you can and learn about the world's oldest and greatest sport!)
Smithson Valley feeder schools will practice in the Smithson Valley High School Wrestling Room. The wrestling facility is located on the back side of campus across from the main "AG Buildings/Classrooms". (Look behind the home side of Ranger Stadium and the Tennis Courts. Spring Branch and Smithson Valley will practice together but compete as separate teams at the end of season tournament.
All male and female athletes in grades 6-8 are invited to participate. Athletes should wear appropriate workout clothing and bring a personal water bottle. Wrestlers may choose to purchase their own shoes, but limited "loaners" will be available for the duration of the middle school season.

Middle School Summer Skills (Before TAC)
Summer Wrestling Skills Camp for grades 6-8 will be available over the course of the summer. You pay for one week and come to all offered sessions!
There will be an online registration and a small non-refundable fee.
