6th Grade World Cultures Course Description:  

The study of people, places and societies of the contemporary world, & the influence of individuals on events and the differing nature of citizenship. We will identify different ways of organizing economic and governmental systems and compare institutions and the effects of technology on societies.

6th Grade Youth Leadership Course Description:  

Youth Leadership prepares students for success in all that they pursue, in and beyond school.  This course teaches students to take responsibility for themselves and their actions, express themselves, and handle problems and decisions when they arise.  This course also builds team building and leadership skills through role play group activities, speeches and projects.
