All Dance Teams follow the "Spirit Organization Guidelines" as found on Comal ISD Website.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Dance classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of dance through the exploration of many dance genres, both traditional and ballroom. Choreography and performance will be introduced in Dance I and will become increasingly more important throughout the semester. Classes will have performances opportunities both in the Fall and Spring semesters. Students receive both a Fine Art and Physical Education credit for taking this course. This course is a prerequisite to trying out for our competitive ballroom dance teams.

Sarah Grudle has been dancing since the age of 3, in various styles inlcuding contemporary, jazz, hip hop and others. Sarah graduated for Canyon High School where she was a 4 year member and captain of the Aristocats. She continued to Texas Tech University where she was a member of the University Dance Company and was an apprentice with Flatlands Dance Theater. During her time in Lubbock, Sarah had the opportunity to dance throughout Texas for American College Dance Association festivals and travel to Trinidad and England to dance as well. She is excited to share her passion of dance with her students and team members while helping them discover their love for dance and ready them for post high school life!
Varsity level competitive dance team who performs at sporting events, pep rallies and compete in local, state, & national competitions
Varsity level co-ed ballroom team who performs during the spring season and competes in local, state, & national competitions. We are the only co-ed competitive ballroom team in Texas!!
