to the CSES GT/SAGE website!

My name is Cindy Rum and I am the GT Facilitator at Clear Spring Elementary. This is my 40th year as a teacher in Comal ISD and my 15th as a GT Facilitator. My hobbies and interests are varied and currently include training and showing my dogs (I have 2 Boston Terriers and 1 Bouvier des Flandres princess), reading, shopping (especially for unique antiques), and relaxing with friends and family. When I have the time, I enjoy crafting and creating.

In Comal ISD the elementary GT program is called SAGE. SAGE is an acronym that stands for Significant Activities for Generating Excellence.

As GT Facilitator, I am here to inspire and nurture a love of learning and provide opportunities to kindle curiosity by challenging and enriching our students through critical and creative thinking opportunities. In addition to working with students, I am also available to assist classroom teachers in providing the best educational opportunities for our advanced learners.
